Réserve naturelle du Boisé-des-Douze

Rediscover your nature by taking a 2.5 km walking circuit (several paths are one-way). Along the way, you will follow herbaceous and shrubby wasteland, then cross forest areas. In the fall, the fallen leaves allow the view on the meander. This diversity of habitats attracts diverse fauna, including several species of birds. Six descents with stairs and ramps facilitate access to the observation areas near the stream. For a few minutes of rest, large rocks distributed along the paths serve as benches. Animals and bikes are prohibited.

The parking lot is located at the end of rue Brouillette. From sunrise to sunset, walkers, bird watchers and snowshoers cross paths on the marked trails. It is also possible to cross-country ski, but there are no tracks.

A trail map and the regulations are posted at each entrance.

The main entrance is at the East end of rue Brouillette. It is reached via Saint-Louis avenue, route 137, Saint-Hyacinthe.
